We have several tanks to suit our many local (Jamaican) scenarios. We have a low-profile tank that starts from 100 Gallons. Then we have offerings at 200 Gallons, 400 Gallons, 650 Gallons, 720 Gallons, 800 Gallons, 1,000 Gallons, and 1,200 Gallons; all competitively suited to your price range and target needs.
This is a good question, and it often comes down to 3 main factors: how many persons are in the household or will be using it, what are the daily usage requirements of the users, and what is the time between municipality resupply of water. For example, a reliable rule of thumb is that small households (2–3 people) often manage well with about 400–800 gallons in daily use cases. And if water supply is unreliable, choose larger tanks than your daily average to help you cover for several days. There are still certainly other options to consider too.

- Maintaining the quality of water in the tank is of course your responsibility. Information on water quality can be obtained from the Water Commission or public health department.
- A firm, level base that is continuous under the entire tank is required.
- Base can be sand, fine gravel, clean dirt, cement or properly supported and closely placed planks.
- Pebbles larger that half inch should be removed.
Yes, however the tank bottom must be continuously supported, eg. atop an even concrete structure, or with two layers of 3/4 inch plywood nailed suitably to a support structure. In the interest of safety, an engineer should be consulted.
Over time, exposure to sunlight causes the plastic to harden which makes it more prone to cracking if the tank receives a heavy blow. All Multi-Plastics Tanks-A-Lot tanks are made with an ultraviolet inhibitor that slows this hardening effect.
